Easy Easter Countdown

Fill numbered plastic Easter eggs with small treasures to make a fun and easy way for kids to count down the days to Easter.

Can you believe Easter is only twelve days away? Once my kids hear that any holiday is close, they start asking me how many more days. Since I'm terrible at remembering, I love to do countdowns for them. This one is really easy to put together using a dozen plastic Easter eggs.

I filled each egg with small treats, erasers, or stickers.

I used stickers to number each egg from one to twelve and stored them all in an empty egg carton.

Starting with egg #12, they can count down by opening one egg each day to find their treat. When there's no more eggs, it's Easter!
