Kid-Made Halloween Votive Holders

Light up Halloween night with these cute little votive holders that kids can make from recycled jars and tissue paper.

Since we still had some leftover baby food jars we decided to make some tea light holders to celebrate Halloween. First we thinned some white school glue with water.

We brushed the glue onto the jars, applied torn tissue paper, and brushed another layer of glue over the top.

Then we let the jars dry.

One they dried, we used a sharpie to decorate the jars.

We dropped in a battery-operated tea light (don't put a flame in these!) and they were ready to display.
