Sledding Penguins Frozen Banana Snack

These cute little sledding penguins are a fun snack for winter. If your kids like chocolate-covered frozen bananas, they're sure to like this dressed up version too!

You can find the directions for this cute penguin banana snack at Adventures of Our Crazy Life. The only thing I did differently was to swap out some edible eyes and M&M's for the Reese's Pieces. I also cut the M&M's for the feet in half.

*As somebody pointed out in the comments, this is probably not a snack that will keep for long. We froze them for 20 minutes and ate them and they were fine.

Some penguin books you might want to check out while enjoying your snack:

Tacky the Penguin by Helen Lester: We love to read about this eccentric little penguin and have even made a craft version of Tacky the Penguin.

A Penguin Story by Antoinette Portis: Our circle penguin craft was inspired by this story about a penguin searching for more color in his world.

Flip and Flop by Dawn Apperley is an especially great book to read with this snack because it's about two penguin brothers who like sledding together. When Flop's older brother doesn't want to play with him, he finds a new friend.

    1. We froze them for twenty minutes and they were okay, but you're right - you probably wouldn't want to keep them too long.
