VTech Innotab 3 Learning Tablet Review and Giveaway

I was thrilled to recently be provided with the Innotab 3 Learning Tablet by VTech to review. My kids have always liked VTech toys and the Innotab 3 was no exception.

My favorite thing about this child-friendly, multi-function touch screen tablet is the emphasis on educational games, creative activities, and reading skills. My preschoolers like all the bells and whistles on this tablet that make learning fun:

• Compact and lightweight design with a 4.3" color touch screen, new directional pad and tilt sensor
• 2.0 megapixel, 180 degree rotating camera with more than 55 photo features and special effects
• FOUR different media players: e-book reader, MP3 music player, photo viewer, and video player
• Includes 16 apps such as "What's that Noise?" e-book and "H20 Go!", a directional pad game that teaches science concepts

My five year old especially likes "Magical Bean Stalk", a game that allows him to care for a bean stalk and grow and harvest the beans. But his very favorite is the MP3 player because we downloaded his favorite song.

My 3 year old likes "Color & Pop", a coloring book activity that makes coloring pages come to life. She also loves the video recorder and "WonderCam", which uses the camera to add special effects, funny faces, and photo frames to pictures.

We've been having a lot of fun exploring these apps, but there's even more available. The Learning Lodge, VTech's easy-to-use download manager, has hundreds of reading, math, social studies, science, creativity and problem solving downloads to enhance learning fun. Already comprised of 350 educational games, e-books, music, and videos specifically developed for toddlers through grade schoolers, The Learning Lodge will nearly double its current selection by the end of the year.
