You can make three different fall tree crafts with even the youngest kids. Pom poms, pipe cleaners, foam stickers and beads from Pom Tree Mega Kits make fun fall tree crafts that are easy to create.
We were recently given the opportunity to explore the craft materials in Pom Tree's Mega Kits. Included in each kit you'll find tons of craft supplies like stickers, beads, chenille stems, foam shapes, craft sticks, and more.
The kits provide a great opportunity for kids to use their imaginations and get creative. I simply opened up the kits and let my three year old and five year old create whatever they wanted.
When kids are in the mood for a more structured project, there are also instructions to make things like bracelets, bookmarks, and critters. When my kids finished their own creations, we decided to branch out (get it?) and make up our own project using all the materials we still had left.
We made 3 different fall trees with materials from our kit: chenille stems (pipe cleaners), beads, pom poms, and stickers. For all three projects we started with a basic tree shape that I made by twisting three brown pipe cleaners together. I glued them onto a piece of paper.
I added more branches by cutting a brown pipe cleaner into smaller pieces and gluing those in place.
We added colorful beads to represent the leaves. You could easily make a spring tree by using pink, yellow, or blue beads. (Skip this if your little one still puts things in their mouth.)
Next we tried pom pom leaves on our fall tree.
Finally, we made one by pressing on the petal shaped foam stickers.
The other products available from Pom Tree Kids include playsets with paper, foam, and felt stickers that children can design and decorate, and coordinating sticker buckets. The nice thing about these sets is that all the parts are stickers or interlocking pieces so you don't need glue (and those playset structures are great for working on problem-solving skills!)
