TP Roll Super Hero Cuffs

This is a sponsored post.
We recently had a chance to preview the movie Disney Super Buddies from the creators of Disney Buddies. Our entire family loved it for its humor, but I especially liked the message: you don't have to have super powers to be a super hero and a super hero does good because it's the right thing to do, not for the glory. Super heroes also conceal their identity to protect the ones they love, but I think it never hurts to be properly accessorized ...

Make super hero cuffs from an empty paper roll

We made super hero cuffs from toilet paper rolls. We started by painting the empty rolls with metallic paint. (You want to paint the rolls and let them dry before you cut into them.)

When they were dry, I cut a slit along one side and rounded the corners.

Finally, we added some glittery stickers and they were ready to wear.

My son wanted lightning bolts for his cuffs. Since we didn't have any stickers that shape, I drew some lightning bolts on craft foam and he cut them out and glued them in place. (He also sprinkled on glitter before the paint dried.)

I think they turned out even cuter than the stickers.

And our own Super Buddy:

If you're ready for an epic tail, Disney Super Buddies is available to own on Blu-Ray Combo Pack August 27th. You can connect with Disney Buddies on Facebook and Pinterest.

*I was inspired by a similar craft at Rachel Rabbit, but based on our experience with toilet paper roll Christmas trees we used a different process. For another way to make them, visit Rachel Rabbit.
