1. Read some books. There's seven great book suggestions at Growing Book by Book.
2. Try a new food (or make an old favorite). Lessons Learnt Journal has a recipe for Ang Ku Kueh (red tortoise cakes).
3. Make a craft. Kid World Citizen has lots of great Chinese New Year crafts including these red paper lanterns.
5. Make your own Chinese gong with this tutorial from Kid World Citizen.
6. Get your kids moving and learning with the Chinese Zodiac Calendar at Carrots Are Orange.
7. Speaking of moving, how fun is this Chinese New Year dragon marionette at Lessons Learnt Journal?
8. Learn about the Chinese New Year with props and stories. There's a great lesson plan at Kid World Citizen.
9. Create a Chinese New Year sensory bin like the one at Carrots Are Orange.
10. Make this Chinese New Year snake craft at Little Artists.
I've pinned these to the Kid's Co-op Pinterest Board (and you can find a featured button on my buttons page if you'd like one.)
Thanks so much to everybody who linked up last week! Can't wait to see what you've got this week!
