1. These hanging garden baubles from Pi-ikea Street are adorable and look like lots of fun to make.
2. Who wouldn't like a bouquet of these sweet tissue paper flowers from Keepin' 2 Boys Busy? Plus, they never wilt!
3. If flowers are not your thing, you could make a cute bouquet of pinwheels from Happy Little Kiwi.
4. The Good Long Road shared some homemade lavender bath goodies.
5. And wrap up whatever gift you give with some kid decorated wrapping paper at Little Moments.
We are making another milk jug bird feeder to give to Grandpa and Grandma on September 9.
I've pinned these to the Kid's Co-op Pinterest Board (and you can find a featured button on my buttons page if you'd like one.)
Thanks so much to everybody who linked up last week! Can't wait to see what you've got this week!
The Montessori method teaches children letter sounds before letter names using lower-case letters. Save the letter names and capitals for later, once the child can read a three-letter, (consonant-vowel-consonant) word. This is very important. Letter names and teaching capitals and lower case at the same time confuse the child.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment. I respectfully disagree with you about teaching letter names. I think it's more confusing to them when the rest of the world refers to the letter name. Also, we are not at a point where I am systematically teaching them letters. I'm more interested in exposing them to letters in a variety of fun ways.
DeleteI've always loved to make pinwheels. And paper flowers are always a cute gift. I really have to get my kid's activities together, so I can join your group and submit each week. Do you post Kid's Co-op every Thursday? I'll join the fun next week. Love these ideas! :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, it's every Thursday! I love your blog, and I'd love for you to link up!
