TP Roll Thanksgiving Corn

We recently did a Thanksgiving corn craft that was easy and turned out cute.  We started with toilet paper rolls, small squares of torn paper, and some homemade Mod Podge (glue thinned with water.)

We just started brushing on the glue and sticking the squares to the roll.  To be honest, the two and three year old didn't make it through the entire craft and I ended up finishing it.  But older and more patient crafters could easily do this.

When "we" finished I put some yellow tissue paper in the end for our husks.

Or you could use it as a napkin holder on your Thanksgiving table.  I would probably use cut paper towel rolls so nobody gets squeamish about the loo rolls.

  12. We've been doing Harvest themed books and activities all week... somehow I missed this Strega Nona's Harvest book. I love the original Strega Nona so I'll have to give this one a try. By the way, the napkin rings are awesome!

  19. Love these!! We shared your blog on our business facebook page – Chore Pad, with a link back here. I will be making these this with my boys! I was even considering having a "before the feast craft with the nieces and nephews - this may be a good thing to do, as long as the glue drys quick enough :) Thanks for sharing!
