Edible Witch Hats

These cute little witch hats I saw on Explore. Dream. Discover. couldn't be easier.  They're my kind of cookies!  No baking! Here's all you need:

We got the sparkly orange gel - it's not necessary - we are just super fancy around here. Flip the cookie over and attach the kiss with some frosting.  My 3 year old made one without one bit of help from me.

He's asked to make them lots of times since then.  Lainey liked them too:

Some inspiration for before, during, or after your treats:

Humbug Witch is about a little witch who can't get her magic to work.  There's a surprise ending I won't give away and Winnie the Witch is about a witch who changes the color of her black cat so she can see him in her black house.  He is unhappy with that, so she changes him back and makes her house more colorful instead. They are both books that I enjoy as an adult as much as the kids like them.
